The examples given illustrate problem solving skills at the highest level, This is a superb book for the strong club player to near master. It’s a great book for opening up and doing a few puzzles during commercials or some such.

Chess: Middlegames

Lots of middlegame segments from non-standard boards, 8×6, 5×8, 9×6, 6×8. Includes promotions, zugzwang, passed pawns, avoiding piece poglar, pins, fortresses, fixing weaknesses, improving king’s position, etc.
