I agree with Sagan that mankind is not the pinnacle of all creation. Jul 15, Harald rated it really liked it. It is presented, stripped of the wordy, overly philosophical ramblings and data heavy meanderings found in other books that cover similar subject matter.

But these flaws are minor in such a tremendous program. And the mistakes that would not be blamed on the time of writing made me unable to feel comfortable with what else I might find in the book, perhaps errors that I didn’t recognize as errors.
